TRAVEL

Winter is here and tropical ports of call beckon. A well equiped action photographer possesses a valuable skill for sailboat cruisers and can often negotiate an all expenses paid trip in exchange for help as crew. They can visit exotic destinations and shoot (and surf) spots known and unknown. For more details check out "A Seagoing Hitchhikers Guide to Cruising the World on Other Peoples Yachts". The following are planned sailboat departures from California (Bay Area or So. Cal), the greater U.S. West Coast, Mexico and Florida. Contact the parties listed. Be sure to determine the seaworthiness of boats and competence of their owners. Ask to see a recent survey on the vessel and references from former crew members. Proexchange assumes no responsibility for the condition of the sailboats or competence of the skippers on this list. SAFETY WINS EVERY TIME!
